HPC Context
The Wits HPC team designs, configures, and tunes student competition clusters under strict power and performance limits. The work spans Linux systems, cluster administration, Slurm, MPI, benchmarking, scientific workloads, and performance tuning.
In 2025, Wits qualified for the ASC Student Supercomputer Challenge final round in Xining, China. Local Wits HPC material also records Talhah Patelia as part of the 2025 Wits team.
